EWI-212 High Polymer Render Coat

Product Overview

EWI-212 High Polymer Render Coat is a polymer-modified, cementitious basecoat supplied in 25kg bags. It levels and stabilises backgrounds, providing a durable, high-adhesion foundation for subsequent render finishes. The workable, polymer-enhanced formulation suits both hand and spray application. It cures to a weather-resistant, vapour-permeable layer that can be lightly scratched for keying or floated to a smooth, even surface.

Intended Uses

For use on dense concrete, carrier boards, masonry, blockwork and stone as a preparatory basecoat before decorative renders and finishes. Suitable for forming stipple or slurry key coats on smooth or low-suction mineral substrates to enhance the mechanical adhesion of subsequent render layers.

EWI-212 High Polymer Render Coat is NOT intended for use as an insulation adhesive or basecoat.

Application Conditions

Application should be carried out in dry conditions and protected from rain, strong wind, direct sunlight and frost during installation and early curing. The product should not be applied when air or substrate temperatures are below 5°C or above 25°C. Protective sheeting should be used where necessary to protect freshly applied material and support consistent curing.
