EWI-747 Lime Render NHL 3.5

Product Overview

EWI-747 Lime Render is the flagship product within the Heritage Range, designed to deliver exceptional breathability and long-term compatibility with traditional buildings. Its breathable nature allows water vapour to pass through the render, supporting the natural movement of moisture in and out of a building’s walls. This makes it particularly advantageous over less breathable, cement-based alternatives.

Formulated without chemical additives, EWI-747 is a fully natural, sustainable render that is both environmentally responsible and aesthetically timeless. It sets through carbonation, actively absorbing CO₂ as it cures, making it especially well-suited to the renovation and conservation of older properties.

Intended Uses

EWI-747 Lime Render is ideal for plastering onto brick, stone and mud walls, both internally and externally. It is particularly suited to projects where traditional, highly breathable, durable and sustainable materials are required, such as heritage and conservation work.

Application Conditions

The render can be applied manually using a trowel or sprayed using an automatic plastering machine. It is recommended that the mixed mortar is applied in layers with a typical thickness of 4–10 mm. Where greater thickness is required, the material should be built up in two or more layers, applied before the previous layer has fully hardened. Once applied, the surface should be floated to achieve the desired finish.
