Substrates must be fully prepared and installed in accordance with EWI Pro system requirements before application. Insulation boards should be securely fixed and level, with a reinforced basecoat applied and cured prior to the dash receiver. The product should be mixed with clean water to achieve a stiff but workable mortar and applied evenly to the prepared basecoat using a steel trowel or suitable spray equipment at a typical thickness of 6–10 mm. While the mortar is still wet, dry dash aggregate should be cast onto the surface and lightly pressed to ensure proper embedment. Application should take place between +5°C and +25°C, avoiding rain, frost, strong winds or direct sunlight during curing.
