EWI-302 Deep Penetrating Primer

Product Overview

Deep Penetrating Primer is an essential preparatory product used before installing EWI or render-only systems. It dries completely colourless and works by stabilising the substrate and limiting its absorptivity, helping to ensure the effective application of subsequent materials. Particularly suited to new-build brick and blockwork, it enhances adhesion and supports a dependable, durable finish.

Intended Uses

Deep Penetrating Primer is designed for priming a wide range of absorptive substrates, including newbuild brick and blockwork, ordinary and cellular concrete (such as aerated concrete), brickwork, blockwork, structural clay tiles, plaster coats, gypsum panels and gypsum plasterboards. It is applied prior to paints, adhesives, cement or cement and lime-based plaster coats, skim finishes, ceramic tiling, floor screeds and wallpaper.
