EWI-008 Bitumen Paint

Product Overview

EWI-008 Bitumen Paint is a ready-to-use, bitumen-rubber waterproofing coating designed for external waterproofing
applications and general maintenance works. It is suitable for creating seamless waterproof layers on vertical and horizontal surfaces and is particularly suited to roofing renovation, roofing maintenance and damp-proofing applications. The thixotropic formulation is simple to apply and can also be used in areas where direct contact with EPS insulation may occur.

Intended Uses

EWI-008 Bitumen Paint is intended for waterproofing outside buildings, particularly for the renovation and maintenance of roofing. It is also suitable for forming seamless waterproofing layers on vertical and horizontal surfaces, including foundation waterproofing and similar below-ground applications. In addition, it may be used for waterproofing in rooms on suitable substrates such as concrete, cement-lime plaster, gypsum substrates and screeds, including screeds with underfloor heating.

Application Conditions

Apply when the air, substrate and product temperatures are between +5°C and +25°C. Do not apply during rainfall. Under standard conditions, drying time for a single coat is approximately 6 hours, after which the coating becomes water resistant.
