Product Overview

EWI-007 Lotus Effect Masonry Paint is an advanced silicone masonry paint designed for exterior walls where a highly
water-repellent, breathable and durable decorative finish is required. Inspired by the lotus flower effect, it creates
a hydrophobic surface that helps repel water, reduce dirt
pick-up and support a cleaner-looking façade over time.

The formulation includes specialist additives to help improve resistance to biological overgrowth, making it particularly well suited to exposed elevations and challenging external environments where moisture, shading or organic growth may be more likely.

Intended Uses

EWI-007 Lotus Effect Masonry Paint is intended for use on exterior façades as a decorative and protective masonry coating. It is suitable for renovation work and for use on properly prepared external wall surfaces, including concrete and mineral backgrounds.

The product can also be used as the finishing coat within suitable render and external wall insulation systems. It is especially suitable for elevations exposed to moisture, shade or biological growth, including areas near trees, water and poorly sunlit surfaces.

Application Conditions

Application should be carried out when the air, substrate and product temperatures are between +5°C and +25°C. Freshly applied paint should be protected from rain, direct sunlight, wind and frost during application and drying. Scaffold sheeting should be used where required to maintain suitable working and drying conditions.
