Product Overview

Panzer Fibreglass Mesh is a heavy-duty, high-performance 330 g/m² reinforcing mesh designed to deliver exceptional strength and flexibility within external wall insulation and render-only systems. Manufactured from fibreglass and coated with an acrylic acid copolymer, it offers long-term resistance to water, alkalis and age-related degradation. Its robust construction helps minimise cracking and enhances the durability and stability of the overall system, particularly in demanding applications.

Intended Uses

Panzer Fibreglass Mesh is intended for embedding within the basecoat reinforcement layer where higher levels of tensile strength and crack resistance are required. It is especially suited to areas subject to increased stress or impact, such as around window and door openings and other vulnerable zones within the façade.

Panzer Fibreglass Mesh forms part of the EWI Pro DuraShield System, where its heavy-duty construction contributes to increased impact resistance and system robustness.

Application Conditions

The mesh should be fully embedded into the fresh basecoat reinforcement layer, ensuring continuous coverage across the surface. Vertical joints must be overlapped by a minimum of 100 mm to maintain structural continuity and reduce the risk of cracking. Additional reinforcement should be incorporated at stress points and high-impact areas to maximise performance and long-term durability of the system.
