EWI-333 Topcoat Primer

Product Overview

Top Coat Primer is a stabilising render primer designed to prepare the basecoat prior to the application of EWI Pro Silicone Renders. It facilitates the application of render coats and enhances adhesion to the substrate, helping to create a long-lasting finish that will withstand the test of time. Top Coat Primer can be pigmented to match the colour of the selected render.

Intended Uses

Top Coat Primer is used to prepare walls before the application of coloured render. It improves adhesion of the render to the basecoat, aiding application and reducing absorbency at the groundwork stage.

Application Conditions

Application and setting temperatures should be between +5°C and +25°C. The primer should be applied in temperate weather and must not be used in temperatures above 30°C. Application should be postponed if the substrate or materials are frozen.

Do not apply in rain, humid conditions, or where wet weather is expected before the primer has dried. Drying time is typically between 12 and 48 hours, depending on environmental conditions and humidity.
