Project Overview: New-Build Luxury Home Construction

The project involved the construction of a luxury new-build mansion in one of Northwood’s most sought-after streets. The client’s brief was clear: deliver a home with a premium finish, attention to detail and lasting quality.

As a new-build, the property incorporated internal cavity wall insulation in line with building regulations, meaning the external works focused solely on achieving a high-quality rendered finish.

“The goal was to provide a high-end finish that the client would be happy with, somewhere people would drive past and say ‘Wow.’”

The build was a showcase of craftsmanship, combining solid construction with modern materials and a polished exterior.

Construction Challenges: Access and Logistics

The main challenge on site was access. Being such a tall building, scaffolding and safe access for spraying and rendering were critical.

“Access is always the most important for a job of that size. We got over it relatively quickly, but it’s always something you need to manage carefully.”

Aside from logistics, the project’s complexity stemmed from delivering a flawless high-end finish, where quality could not be compromised for speed.

Installer & Developer Approach: Achieving a Premium Finish

Decisions throughout the project were guided by the architect’s drawings. The installer followed these precisely, focusing on quality, timing and professional delivery.

“We follow the architect’s plans. But quality is imperative and that never changes.”

Performance targets were measured in aesthetic and functional outcomes: a seamless, durable finish delivered on time.

The project exceeded expectations for both installer and client. The finish was high-end and durable and the client was extremely satisfied.

“It’s another rendering job, but this one I can look at and think, “‘Wow, what a great job we’ve done.’ It’s excellent for my portfolio as well.”

No changes were required in the installer’s future approach: professionalism, consistency and quality remain the guiding principles.

Why This Project Matters: Lessons from a Luxury Build

This project shows that even single, high-end builds can benefit from careful planning, professional execution and attention to finish. The project demonstrates:

  • The importance of quality in every step
  • How access and logistics impact delivery
  • That high-end projects are as much about aesthetics as performance

“We will always approach projects in the same way: professionalism, quality and ensuring the client is happy.”
