Heritage Lime Plaster EWI-295

The Heritage Lime Plaster is intended for use on internal walls and ceilings for creating a smooth surface prior to decorating. The plaster is completely vapour-permeable due to the fact that it is lime-based; this means that it helps to create a healthy, damp-proof internal environment. Lime Plaster is ideal for heritage restoration projects as it is a very natural, traditional material that will allow the building to breathe.

Intended Uses

The Heritage Lime Plaster is ideal for use internally on walls and ceilings. It is entirely waterproof and vapour permeable, with a strong grip to provide a lasting adhesion to substrates. We recommend applying the EWI-295 on top of the EWI-269 Lightweight Basecoat. It can then be painted or finished with lime products to achieve a smooth, traditional finish.

Application Conditions

• Application and setting temperature: from +5°C to +25°C.
• The plaster should be applied in temperate weather and should not be used in temperatures above 30°C.
• The Heritage Lime Plaster should be left to set for at least 12 hours before any further works are carried out.
• EWI-295 should be mixed with approximately 8.6 litres of water per 25kg of dry mix.
