EWI Pro & Thermal Efficiencies

EWI Pro external solid wall insulation systems are designed to improve the thermal efficiency of residential and commercial properties. The insulation systems can be used for both new build properties and retrofit projects. The final thermal efficiency is determined by what insulating product is used (XPS, EPS or mineral wool) as well as the thickness of material used.

The details of the thermal efficiencies that can be achieved using the EWI Pro systems can be found below. As always, the lower the u-value, the better the insulating properties of a material and therefore the larger the energy savings that can be achieved.

If over 25% of a property is being retrofitted with insulation, the install must conform with building regulations. In this case the following thickness of materials must be used as a bare minimum.
